The film is set in 1910. The story begins by documenting the flooding of the River Seine that year.
Shy projectionist Emile has a passion for film and is in love with his coworker at the cinema, Maud, but has trouble admitting his true feelings. His friend, an exuberant inventor and delivery driver, Raoul, picks him up from work to transport him in his bizarre vehicle (called "Catherine"), to pick up a new belt for his projector, which was broken due to Emile's inattentiveness while daydreaming. In the process of purchasing a new belt, Emile also gets himself a new camera (which almost gets stolen by a thief). The story also introduces Lucille, Raoul's childhood friend, who is a cabaret singer at the club L'Oiseau Rare ("The Rare Bird"). Though she is a successful singer, her aunt Carlotta does everything to push her into the arms of the wealthy Police commissioner, Maynott, a man consumed by pride and ambition.

He returns home only with a handful of beans given to him by a monk who claimed they were sacred but that does little to impress his uncle who tosses them away. In the night the Princess arrives having run off to keep from marrying Roderick who is clearly only interested in becoming king. Soon the beans take root with a giant stalk carrying away the princess and Jack's house. It begins with a young Jack who is captivated by the tale of a race of Giants who come from a land in the sky and came through giant stalks which were sprouted from magic beans. And the giants devoured everyone so Erik the king had a crown made that makes whoever wears it control the giants and he used it to make them leave and he had the giant stalks chopped. Upon his death, he was buried with the crown along with the beans that grew the giant stalks. When Jack turns 18 he is sent to sell their horse and cart. When he goes to the cloister, he runs into a girl who is being harassed. He tells the ones harassing to leave her alone. Later the king's soldiers show up and take the girl away, it seems she's the Princess Isabelle who ran away because her father is telling she has to marry Roderick, one of the his trusted advisers. But what the king doesn't know is that Roderick is up to something. He goes to his chamber and sees a monk leave. He discovers something is missing so he tries to find the monk. When the monk sees he's surrounded, he runs into Jack and asks for his horse and offers a pouch of beans in exchange. He tells Jack not to get them wet. Later the monk is caught and Jack leaves. When he goes home, his uncle is infuriated that he allowed the monk to con him. He throws the beans to the floor. Jacks picks most of them up but one falls through a crack in the floor. That evening it begins to rain. That evening the Princess runs away again and seeks shelter at Jack's. They talk about how they're intrigued by the story of the Giants and the beanstalk. Suddenly a giant stalk sprouts taking Jack's house with the Princess to the heavens. Jack tries to save her but falls and is knocked out. When he wakes up he sees the king standing over him and asking where hi s daughter is. Jack shows the beanstalk, so the king sends soldiers to climb the stalk and search for his daughter. Jack offers to go which the soldier doesn't think is a good idea. Roderick offers to go too but he has other plans. Along the way, Roderick cuts the rope getting rid of some of the soldiers. When they make it to the top they discover that the tale about the giants might not be a myth. Roderick also tells Jack to give him the beans.

Theodora tells that her sister and she are good witches, but the Wicked Witch had killed the king. Now the people are waiting for the magician to be their new king after defeating the witch. Theodora is seduced by Oz and brings him to the City of Emerald. When he sees the king's treasure, he decides to seek out the Wicked Witch and destroy her magic wand to get rid off her and become the king. Oz meets Glinda, who is supposed to be the Wicked witch, and soon he learns that Theodora's sister Evanora is the evil one indeed. Meanwhile Evanora lures he sister that is jealous and uses a spell to turn her into a wicked witch. Oscar learns that he is the only hope for the inhabitants of Oz that believe that he is a powerful magician and his only chance to defeat Evanora and Theodora is using illusion since he has no magic power.

Fascination Coral Reef 3D Free Download

The best nature documentaries combine compelling footage with informative narration or commentary and use the visuals to tell a story. IMAX, the BBC and Discovery Channel spoil audiences with a steady stream of great nature programming, so it's almost inevitable that Fascination Coral Reef 3D doesn't cut it. Compared to Planet Earth it's amateurish; a collection of uninteresting underwater shots set to dismal narration. The water is murky, the subjects fleeting, and the entire affair is tedious.

Fascination Coral Reef 3D is one part of a German nature series. This piece concerns coral reefs and the surrounding ecosystem, which is full of fish, turtles, sharks and plant life. The documentary provides some cursory information about reefs - but nothing about pollution or location - and then focuses on random inhabitants. The camera pans lazily through cloudy water until it spots a fish, then the narrator provides some Wikipedia-grade facts. There is no overarching theme or story, and each fish is as mundane as the next.

Beautiful footage often speaks for itself, but Fascination Coral Reef 3D might have easily been shot by an amateur scuba diver. The framing, composition and editing is unimpressive, and the dim waters sully the mood. There isn't a single standout shot, and the filmmakers apparently shot at random. It shows, because the camera never captures any marine life cooler than a sea turtle. Somehow, this documentary makes a vibrant marine environment feel utterly pedestrian. If you told me they stuck a camera into an office aquarium I would probably believe you. The generic techno background music only makes things worse.

It's unfair to compare every nature documentary to its high production value counterparts on Discovery, but Fascination Coral Reef 3D likely won't hold your attention for forty-some odd minutes. Even if you are only looking for a high-definition screen saver for your massive LCD screen, look elsewhere for brighter, more impressive footage. Fascination Coral Reef 3D is far from fascinating.
